Last week we had an awesome external event. We hosted a QA workshop "Pursuing the quality in software" for 8 attendees. The purpose of this workshop was to create awareness for the QA position, to process all the methods and aspects that includes this area and explain the main difference between QA and Tester.
At the same time, we worked on technical topics such as:
1. Testing strategies and application of techniques, methodologies, data sets in each part of the SDLC.
2. Process-oriented methodologies and implementation of Specification by Example as an Agile dimension
3. Building specification with user stories and acceptance criteria
4. Implementation and automation of the specification using Cucumber
During the workshop, attendees had plenty of activities and they worked on case studies. Save Isirova (Software QA Engineer at iborn.net) was the instructor and guided them through the program.
Everybody had a great time and really enjoyed the event and we hope that this is the first of many events and workshops that we will organize in the future.
